“The early evening reception was hosted by Bonita and Jack Wrather, owners of Disneyland Hotel, who personally commissioned Krebs to create the sculpture for their 60-acrea, 1400-room facility.

Krebs, a Missouri native who has been residing in Washington, D.C., was joined by his parents, Arthur and Lorine Krebs of Missouri. He was greeted by other well-known artists including Robert Irwin and his guest, writer Joan Tewesbury, Tom Garver and Betty Turnbull of the Newport Harbor Art Museum, and Tom Woodward representing the Los Angeles Museum of Science and Industry. Also attending were Guy Dill, sculptor from the UCLA School of Art, and his brother Laddie Dill, who was accompanied by his wife artist Ann Thornycroft Dill.” The Register Daily, Santa Ana, Artist Honored, October 30, 1979.
